Park Lane Practice

Cervical Cytology (Smear Tests)

To reduce the risk of cervical cancer, smear tests should be performed every 3 years (unless otherwise indicated by the Doctors) between the ages of 25-65.

You will be informed by computerized letter that your smear is due and the practice will also invite you if your smear is overdue. Smears can be done at the surgery by the nurse and appointments can be made via our reception team.

Booking your appointment is important, if you are concerned please speak with the practice who will be happy to support you.
